Being a responsible breeder involves extensive planning, time, energy and financial investment as the whole breeding process takes up to 20 weeks of commitment from the start of the heat cycle to the time the puppies can leave home.
Responsible breeders have sleepless nights and early mornings monitoring mum during the whelping stage and nursing the entire litter during the neonatal period to ensure they are well nourished.
There are outgoing expenses a breeder incurs pre and post pregnancy to ensure the female is in optimum health for breeding. This includes high quality nutrition, supplements, vaccinations, progesterone tests, ultrasounds, x-rays, stud fees, artificial insemination, emergency caesareans, medication, whelping supplies, worming treatments, flea treatment, microchips, vet health examinations, care packs and other associated costs such as travel and time off work.
We breed first generation (F1) and F1b Toy Cavoodles. F1b Cavoodles are first generation Toy Cavoodles cross back with a purebred Toy Poodle which will typically result in a curlier coat and more hypoallergenic than F1 Cavoodles.
We breed ruby red cavoodles as they are the most popular colour. We also occasionally breed purebred ruby red Toy Poodles.
Yes we recommend you come to view the puppies so you can make a decision on choosing the right puppy. Serious buyers are welcome to visit us in Fairfield NSW by appointment only or we can offer video calls.
Puppies are introduced to toilet training starting at 4 weeks once they are able to walk. Our puppies are trained on litter pellets and real grass. It generally takes 4-6 months to fully toilet train a puppy to learn their potty routine and be familiar where to go when they settle in a new home environment.
We prefer local buyers however regional and interstate buyers are welcome to organise pet transport at their own expense.
Yes we can guarantee one buyer the first pick of the next litter once a non-refundable $100 deposit is made. This will be deducted from the sale amount once you have selected your preferred puppy.
It's very important to select a reputable breeder who offers quality breeding and care. The price of puppies usually equals to their appearance and quality. It may seem better to save money initially and purchase a cheaper puppy from other sellers but it may not be in your best interest in the long run as the first 8 weeks is the most crucial time for a puppy's development. It is impossible to provide high quality nutrition and adequate care for both mum and puppies for 8 weeks and expect a cheap price as you will get what you pay for. We typically spend 3.hours per day taking care of our puppies to ensure they are regularly exposed to human contact. Your fur baby is a long term financial commitment so don't skimp on quality and care because your puppy will become apart of your family for years to come.
Cavoodles can expect to live 10-14 years with a healthy lifestyle, diet and routine vet checks.
1. Photos are not consistent because scammers steal pictures from Google or other listings hence why we insert our logo on all our original pictures when posting online.
2. Scammers will not be able to send you up to date photos upon request and will have lame excuses why they can't offer video calls or home visits.
3. The price is too good to be true and the scammer will constantly pressure you to transfer money.
4. The listing description has poor grammar and information does not match up. Scammers have lack of experience with breeding and raising puppies so their answers to some of your questions will be a red flag.
